I work with all buyers as a Buyer's Agent. That's important. NC is by default a Seller Agency State (see Agency in NC). Unless you are working with a Buyer's Agent, your real estate agent represents the property sellers. Yes, that's right: in NC, the real estate agent showing you property (to whom you have just told you love it and MUST have this one), is NOT working for you unless she is a Buyer's Agent.

I work as a Buyer's Agent at no cost to you. I get my commission from the seller when and if you decide to buy.

I will thoroughly research the properties you are interested in and inform you of all its pros and cons, the sales history, tax value, and any other pertinent facts that you need to have in order to make an informed decision. When you decide to make an Offer, I will provide guidance on an appropriate Offer amount depending on days on the market, and current market conditions. I will help you negotiate all aspect of the purchase.

I will not disappear once we have a signed contract. I will attend inspections, make sure the process is moving forward as it should be, quickly inform you of any glitches that may affect the closing date, and be there when questions or issues appear that need to be resolved. I will continue to be your advocate.
