A Dan Maples design and recognized as one of the most beautiful mountain courses.  The l;ength of the course provides plenty of opportunities for spectacular drives. Well positioned bunkers and undulating terrain present a variety of tough shots to golfers of all abilities.  The Course Rating is 73.2 and the Slope Rating is 140.

Bald Mountain Golf Course was Rumbling Bald Resort 's first and original golf course. The name comes from comes from the stony-faced mountain overlooking the course.   Well guarded greens and tight fairways provide a challenge to golfers who must concentrate on precision drives and their approach shots.  

Bald Mountain Golf Course is a golfer’s challenge in a lovely mountain setting . The course is popular with golfers of all ages  and ability level and has always received high marks from Golf Digest readers.

There are 4 sets of tees and the course plays at 6,283 yards. The Course Rating is 70.9 and the Slope Rating is 128.

 The Lake Lure Golf Course is a municipal golf course located within the town limits of Lake Lure on Highway 64/74A. The entrance to the Town of Lake Lure Municipal Golf Course at 658 Memorial Hwy, is conveniently located next to the Fairfield Fire Station.

The Lake Lure Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole course that was  designed by Donald Ross.   This is one of the most scenic courses to play in the area and it open year round, weather permitting.  

Walkers are welcomed, and pull cars are available. All players must have their own set of clubs. Rental clubs are available for $5.00 plus tax for 9 holes. All groups of six or more will be separated into smaller groups.
